Cinnamon, Sugar & a Little Wild West Magic

Cinnamon, Sugar & a Little Wild West Magic

There’s something about the smell of cinnamon coming from the kitchen that makes breakfast feel like something special.

You know the smell. Warm cinnamon and brown sugar, a little vanilla, butter melting over a fresh waffle, and maple syrup finding its way into every little pocket. It’s the kind of breakfast that can make an ordinary morning feel a little more like the weekend.

That’s the inspiration behind Cinnamon Wild West Waffles.

Sometimes a Little Twist Is All You Need

We love our original Wild West Waffles just the way they are, but part of the fun of having a great waffle mix is discovering just how many ways you can make it your own.

For this variation, we weren't looking to completely change the waffle. We wanted that familiar Wild West Waffles flavor to still be there—just with a warm cinnamon twist.

So we kept it simple.

A little cinnamon brings the warmth. Brown sugar adds a touch of deeper sweetness. And vanilla brings everything together.

Three simple additions. A completely different waffle experience.

The Kind of Breakfast That Brings Everybody to the Kitchen

One of the best parts might actually happen before the first waffle ever hits the plate.

Once that cinnamon batter hits a hot waffle iron, the kitchen starts smelling like cinnamon, brown sugar and vanilla. Then you open the waffle maker and there it is: a hot, golden waffle ready for butter and maple syrup.

Good luck keeping everybody out of the kitchen after that.

And while these are definitely good enough for a slow Saturday morning, they're simple enough to make whenever you're craving something a little different.

Make Them Your Own

We're partial to serving Cinnamon Wild West Waffles hot with a pat of butter and plenty of maple syrup, but there's plenty of room to make them your own.

Try them with toasted pecans or walnuts for a little crunch. Add sliced bananas or apples. Pile on some whipped cream for a special breakfast. Or keep things simple and let the cinnamon, butter and maple do all the work.

However you serve them, this is one of those easy variations worth keeping around.

Because breakfast doesn't always need a brand-new recipe.

Sometimes you just need to take something you already love and make it a little wilder.

Same Wild West Waffles. A whole new adventure.
